Antique Oil on Canvas by Harry Van der Weyden" This antique oil painting by American artist Harry Van Der Weyden measures 14 and one half inches tall and 17 and one half inches wide on the inside. The frame of this antique oil painting measures 22 inches tall and 25 and one quarter inches wide. This oil painting is in its original frame and retains its original name plate. Harry Van Der Weyden,painter born 1868 Boston Ma. This is a wonderful American impressionist landscape and a fine example of Harry Van Der Weydens better works. Oil on canvas. Studied Slade School, London scholarship, 1887 Paris Salon gold 1891 and 1892. Munich gold 1901 See Who was Who in American Art by Falk page 3385 or Fink, American Art at the Nineteenth Century Pais Salons

Artist "Eduard Niczky" Antique portrait paintings, Extremely well done portrait oil painting by artist Eduard Niczky, born 1850 died 1919. E. Benezit listing page 717. This portrait depicts a beautiful young Victorian lady dressed in a velvet dress with matching hat with feathers. This is with out a doubt one of the nicest portrait paintings we have handled. Oil on board. Oil painting measures 7 and three quarters inches by 6". The original frame measures 15 and one half inches by 14". The portrait is in fine condition, the frame has some gold leaf loss.

She was born in 1883 and died in 1979. This etching is in its original frame and is signed Court House Square Charleston,Elizabeth ONeill Verner 20. This etching image measures 5 and and one half inches by 5 and 7/8 inches.The original wood frame measures 12 and and one half inches by 16 inches. Rematting is recommended. This image depicts a Black woman sweeping with three children playing nearby. This etching just came in from a local Connecticut River Valley Estate.

American artist Henry Rodman Kenyon,Oil on board landscape depicting an autumn landscape.Beautifully done, great light and distance. Henry Rodman Kenyon Was born 1861 and died 1926. Rhode Ishland School of design 1879 to 1882, Academie Julian Paris 1882 under Lefebvre and Boulanger.Exhibit Hoopers Art Gallery in Providence Rhode Island 1886. Ipswich Massachusetts 1901. Kenyon mostly painted in small paintings. This oil on board measures 8 inches by 10 inches with a 12 inch by 14 inch frame. Signed Henry R Kenyon Ipswich Mass on back and Kenyon on the lower front left. See article in the NewTown Bee April 4 1988 on Kenyon describing a show at the Cooley Gallery in Old Lyme CT and a coinciding exhibit "Henry Rodman Kenyon 1861 to 1926" was held at the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme Connecticut. April 18th to May 29 1988
