Antique Map Mare del Nort by Coronelli, This wonderful period antique map entitled "Mare del Nort" was done by cartographer "Vincenzo Maria Coronelli" in the 17th century. Copperplate engraved map on mould paper, preservation mounted on archival fabric.(1650-1718).. Coronelli founded the first Geographical Society in 1680, and was cartographer to the Republic of Venice in 1685. This antique map depicits the Atlantic Ocean and much of the American shore as it was assumed to be at that time.This wonderful map is in very good original condition and measures 18 and one half inches by 24 and three quarters inches. The frame it is in measures 31 and one half inches by 25 and one quarter inches.

Pair of Antique Portraits Horace Bundy oil on canvas. This true matched pair of American Art portraits date from the mid 19th century in America and were painted by the well known artist "Horace Bundy". The original frames measure 29 and one half inches by 34 and one half inches and each canvas measures 23 and one half inches by 28 and one half inches.Horace Bundy, portrait and landscape painter, born in 1814 in Hardwick, VT, died in 1883, Concord, NH.Worked as an itinerant artist in New Hampshire and Vermont during the 1840s and 1850s and was also a licensed Adventist preacher. Only 17 portraits done during this time are known and all were done in Springfield, VT or Claremont, NH. Oil on canvas, restored several years ago by an expert. Relined with very little or no in painting.For additional information, see "Who was Who in American Art", p.500.

Watercolor signed Annie Prat,Canadian artist c1893. This watercolour depicts a man who appears to be dressed in a regimental uniform complete with medals. This antique watercolor has bright vibrant colors. The hat and the belt both have the number 44 on them. The artist "Annie Prat" was born 1860 died 1960 born in Pradise, Newfoundland the daughter of Mrs and Mrs Samuil Morse Prat. She went to live in Halifax and attended the Morse Street School. She also went to the Art Institute of Chicago and then moved to New York where she continued to paint and write poetry. The image measures eleven inches by 15 inches and the frame measures 18 inches by 22 inches. Condition. quite good with one small area where the old mat must have touched the surface and removed some of the dark gray water color. Visible in the photographs we provided. THIS ITEM IS ON HOLD.
