Harry Russell Ballinger Oil Painting on Canvas Autumn Landscape. This oil on canvas measures 30 and three quarters by 26 and one half inches outside the frame and the image within measures 19 and one quarter by 23 and one quarter inches.This is a lovely example of a Ballinger impressionist Landscape painting with strong fall colors and distant hills.Born 1892 port Townsend WA. Lived in New Hartford CT and Rockport ME. Russell had many exhibitions including Nad SC and the Hartford Atheneum.His work is in New Britain Museum of American Art and the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford CT.
